Jason has over twenty years experience in the criminal justice system as a police prosecutor. He holds a Bachelor of Law with Honors (QUT). Diploma in Legal Practice (QUT), and a Bachelor of Justice Administration(QUT).

Jason joined the Queensland Police Service in January 1990. After roles as a general duties police officer, traffic branch, he excelled as a police prosecutor for twenty years appearing in complexed criminal trials and sentences.

Jason was admitted to practice as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of QLD 2011, then later that year admitted to the bar in Queensland. Subsequently Jason was entered in the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia and entitled to practice as a Barrister in any Federal Court.

Jason on his resignation from the Queensland Police Service in May 2012, commenced at the private Bar and is part of Bennett Chambers.

Jason has extensive criminal law experience in the Magistrates court, and has appeared in many serious matters for the Queensland Police Service. Successfully representing clients in many high profile cases and has a high level expertise in traffic prosecutions.
