Julian began his career in 2003 as an articled clerk and was admitted as a solicitor in 2005.
From 2006 until 2009 he practiced in the fused profession of the Northern Territory as both solicitor and advocate at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency where he
appeared daily in the Local and Supreme Court in criminal matters.
Julian was called to the private bar in March 2009. He regularly prosecutes for the
Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and for Queensland Government agencies and appears for the defence in all variety of criminal cases in the courts of Queensland and New South Wales. His practice has included acting for clients in Royal Commissions of Inquiry and at the Crime and Corruption Commission.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.
